Biography

Elizabeth McCallum is a well-known speaker who conducts seminars on education, children's literature, and all aspects of the English curriculum. She speaks at the Association for Christian Schools International (ACSI) teacher conventions, at homeschool parents groups, and at private school faculty and parent meetings.

Elizabeth received her B.A., English at Northeastern University in Chicago and her M.A., English from the University of Houston, where she also completed four years of doctoral studies. She has taught middle school and high school English for twenty-six years at colleges, universities, and private Christian schools in several states. She is currently Head of the English Department at a Christian school in Cumming, Georgia. She has five children and, to date, twelve grandchildren. She is an active member of Chalcedon Presbyterian Church in Cumming, where she and her husband serve on several committees to further the spiritual life of their church and community.  She is a free-lance editor, private tutor, and the co-author of a book on children's literature.

Elizabeth was recently included in the 8th Edition of Who's Who Among America's Teachers

Elizabeth is available to speak on Saturdays or after 4:30 PM on weekdays. She will adapt her presentation to your particular needs, and you may hire her for a day or for a few hours. Her fees are available upon request.
